We want to be Cate Blanchett pretty much every day of our lives - but today this desire has increased tenfold. The painfully glamorous trailer for Todd Haynes' Carol has dropped and we've got Blanchettmania.
This sumptuous piece is based on the late-great Patricia Highsmith's novel of the same name, which follows a married woman (Blanchett) who risks everything when she embarks on a romance with a younger department store worker (Rooney Mara).
The combination of Blanchett, Haynes, and Highsmith, has us mighty excited for Carol's November 27th release.
