Trailer: Anthony Hopkins & Colin Farrell in 'Solace'

We've had Solace on our radar for a few years now, but it's finally heading for release this September. This one-time Se7en sequel has morphed into supernatural crime-drama starring Anthony Hopkins and Colin Farrell, under the guidance of director Afonso Poyart.

The project sees Hopkins star as a doctor with psychic powers who is roped into helping the FBI track down a similarly gifted serial killer (Farrell). The two esteemed stars are joined by Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Abbie Cornish.

Whilst the trailer looks like it'll be following the procedurals of a by-the-numbers cop vs. killer flick, there's sure to be some interest in the psychic angle. If not, Hopkins and Farrell are always a pleasure to watch so we'll be there on opening day regardless.

Solace hits the UK on September 25.
