Trailer: Chocolate City

We really never thought we'd be bringing you news on a film called Chocolate City, but such is the power and diversity of the world of cinema. This Blaxploitation version of Magic Mike looks set to provide a light-hearted look at the lives of some black male strippers in the US.

Jean-Claude La Marre directs this tale which sees a struggling young college student stumble into the world of male stripping. Robert Ri'chard, Michael Jai White, Vivica A. Fox and the ever-shy Tyson Beckford star.

Chocolate City also stars acclaimed thespian Carmen Electra (see Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding), which is surely a reason to see it - alongside all the chiselled torsos and abundance of models within the cast.

It slaps its way into US cinemas on May 22nd. No UK release date as of yet - but you knew that already. Watch the trailer below.
