If like me you ever look at your pets and wonder what they're thinking, upcoming Ryan Reynolds lead comedic thriller The Voices might put a worrying end to your question.
Likeable Jerry (Ryan Reynolds) stumbles innocently into the role of a killer, guided along the way by his evil talking cat and benevolent talking dog.
You have to admire director Marjane Satrapi and the cast's commitment to this mad idea, as it appears that they are completely submerging themselves in the gleeful insanity of this concept. From Reynolds voicing the Southern hound and the depraved Scottish cat Mr Whiskers, to Arterton's talking head in the fridge, The Voices looks like a riot.
