Stephen King writes the screenplay for Peter Askin's adaptation of his short story, A Good Marriage. Originally featured in his 2010 collection Full Dark, No Stars, the adaptation starring Joan Allen.
Allen stars as a wife who discovers that her husband of twenty-five years is hiding a dark secret. You guessed it, he's a serial killer. Now let the madness ensue.
A Good Marriage looks like a tense little ride that is going to pack a few neat thrills and a strong central performance from Allen. Stephen Lang, Anthony Paglia and Kristen Connolly also star. It hits US cinemas 3 October 2014.
