Trailer: Derek Hough in Make Your Move

It makes perfect sense that Dancing with the Stars' Derek Hough would quickly make the jump to the big screen. After all, the twenty-eight year old dancer has movie star good looks, undeniable charisma, and a clear talent in his field. Make Your Move, his first film, sees him team up with South Korean superstar BoA for a feature in a similar vein to the Step Up films.

Hough plays a New Orleans dancer who moves to New York where he meets the leader of a hip hop dance crew (played by BoA) - with the pair forming an immediate spark.

The trailer (which you can see below) showcases some high-octane dance sequences, a killer soundtrack, and more importantly a shirtless Derek. Colour us excited.

Make Your Move hits US cinemas on April 18. International release dates to follow.
